Awarded by the state government of Santa Catarina, the Professor Caspar Erich Stemmer Innovation Catarinense 2013 Award was given to six companies from Santa Catarina, at the Administrative Center, in Florianópolis. The selection of the contemplated ones was in charge of the Foundation of Support to the Scientific and Technological Research of Santa Catarina (Fapesc), organ of the state government linked to the Secretariat of State of the Sustainable Economic Development.
In the Large and Medium Enterprise category, ZEN was the winner by creating the Z-VIB pulley, an alternator pulley with vibration damping.
